Jennifer Meade is Vice President at Beta, a commercial real estate agency focused on enhancing value thru advisory, design, and analytics. Beta collaborates with brands and places to face challenges and find solutions by implementing marketing and technology to accelerate and enhance the leasing and sales transaction process.
Jennifer is an experienced commercial retail real estate executive with twenty years of service in the industry. Jennifer’s career in commercial real estate started at CBRE, initially working in the company’s research department, which included database maintenance and providing data for company published reports, including office market quarterly reports and serving as the lead data analyst for the CBRE Trends 2000 publication. She then moved up to work as a marketing specialist for the then top retail team in Orange County, working on both landlord and tenant representation accounts.
Jennifer also spent more than a decade working as an in-house leasing director for two prominent Los Angeles based boutique development firms. She has leased projects in California, Nevada and Arizona. During her tenure at The Festival Companies, Jennifer completed more than 300 lease transactions. She worked on a range of projects, including a portfolio of gas station conversions to multi-tenant retail strip centers, Community Centers, Power Centers and the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza regional mall. At Primestor Development, Jennifer worked on the company’s premier new retail developments in densely populated urban Hispanic areas of Los Angeles, including azalea Shopping Center in South Gate and olivo Shopping Center in Mission Hills. She was able to bring many mainstream retail tenants to the underserved communities surrounding those developments and helped to raise the bar on the level of quality for retail in those areas of Los Angeles County. At both companies, Jennifer interfaced with the company’s principals, financial advisors and property managers to transact the best and most profitable deals for clients, often providing double and in some cases triple digit returns on investment.
Jennifer recently returned to brokerage in partnership with Richard Rizika as part of his full-service retail advisory team based in El Segundo, California and servicing the West Coast region of the United States. She provides clients with project strategy, development and execution services for Beta’s extensive West Coast portfolio of properties, currently more than five million square feet.
Jennifer builds relationships with clients based on trust, clearly defining goals and objectives for leasing and delivering results that provide value. Her in-house leasing experience is an asset to clients as she is able to offer a true ownership perspective on any transaction, both new deals and renewals in existing centers or new developments. She has the patience and follow through skills needed to provide the best results for clients.
Jennifer represents dozens of Landlords locally and nationwide and at any given point in time is handling a portfolio of retail totaling 5 million or more square feet.
