Jennifer Meade of Beta Recognized by GlobeSt.com as a Woman of Influence 2021
Beta Vice President Jennifer Meade has been recognized for the second time in three years as a Woman of Influence in Commercial Real Estate by GlobeSt.com (GlobeSt Real Estate Forum). The 2021 Annual GlobeSt. Women of Influence Conference celebrates the women who accelerate the advancement of gender diversity in leadership positions and drive the commercial real estate industry forward.
Jennifer is honored under the Broker – Landlord/Agency Representation category, which includes top female executives in commercial real estate (CRE) whose primary function is to advise property owners on maximizing income for their assets through strategic merchandising planning and procurement of deals to attain financial goals for these assets. With 20+ years of service in the industry specializing in retail advisory and transactional support, Jennifer has made a distinctive mark in her territory and beyond, consistently demonstrating impactful engagement with the CRE community and broader social community.
“It is extremely important for women to be recognized as influential in the commercial real estate industry, particularly in the field of retail,” notes Jennifer. Given that women account for the majority of all consumer purchases, they need to be viewed as equal partners in decision-making, while affecting positive change. Supporting a culture in CRE retail that develops, advances and retains women leaders is a business imperative, particularly as retailers develop increasingly targeted engagement campaigns.
Jennifer’s tenacious grit coupled with her vast experience as a trusted real estate advisor enables her to navigate the lease negotiation and branding process with her clients to ultimately yield results for improving the assets she represents. Jennifer’s representation of assets goes beyond the transactional. She serves in an advisory capacity to maintain the financial health of assets as a whole.
As a leader, Jennifer finds inspiration in being a mentor to young women motivated to grow and hone their skills in the field. “Sometimes you just need somebody to point you in the right direction,” she states with thoughtful intention. “Raising each other up is the only way any of us will succeed. Having the ability to serve as an advisor inspires me to continue the grind and aspire to do more.”
